As with all sports that can be viewed around the world nowadays, We, the audience, tend to stare in amazement at what the athletes in front of us are doing, whether its on TV, YouTube, Vimeo or any other video platform, the scenes that are portrayed, especially in a visually stunning genre like extreme sports can blow us away. However we tend to forget the person who is capturing the footage, we tend to forget the thought process, the determination and in some cases the sacrifices these people make for the love of their sport.
The Dark Side of the Lens is an amazing, emotional and truly epic story of how a surfing director explains how he does what he does and more importantly why he does it!
